Britwell House

Built in 1727, this grade II listed Georgian house is surrounded by 22 acres of landscaped lawns and gardens with exceptional views towards the Chilterns.

Britwell Salome is a small village in South Oxfordshire and this remarkable house lies at the end of a long private drive that you sweep up from the main road. An impressive monument which sits opposite the historic house makes a remarkable backdrop for photos and stands proudly in front of the house.

The current owners have opened up their house and shared it with couples for some years and the house is only open to the public for special occasions such as Civil Ceremonies and Wedding Receptions.

The Oval Room is licensed for Civil Ceremonies and Champagne Receptions can either take place outside the front of the house or in an adjacent hall.
